A research team comprised of 海角社区 professors and students has compiled a website on Starkville's civil rights movement. It unveiled the at a community forum Oct. 29 at the Hilton Garden Inn. The site now includes 16 interviews with Starkville residents who experienced the movement firsthand. Those who attended the event were invited to share their own stories from that era for publication on the website.
