Landscape Architecture Design/Build Courtyard Progress

Recent 海角社区 master's graduate Xin Lin from China cleans excess concrete off of the metal forms being used to build a curved, concrete seat wall for a new landscape architecture courtyard. To be completed in about two years, the courtyard being designed by students in assistant professor Cory Gallo and Extension associate Brian Templeton's design/build landscape architecture course is adjacent to the Landscape Architecture Building on the south side of the Starkville campus. Students are working with to construct the courtyard, which features a stormwater planter that looks like a garden and provides seating.
